On July 30, 2019, at approximately 6:07 pm, a child came down the hotel elevator entrance and informed a Security Officer that his brother had fainted inside their room. The Officer immediately relayed the information to dispatch who sent Officers to the room. Upon arrival, they found a 21-year-old male lying on the bathroom floor unconscious and not breathing. Security Officer S. Garrett immediately began CPR as Officers R. Sedgwick and E. Newbury attached the AED unit. A shock was advised and administered. After several more sets of CPR, the guest became conscious and breathing. The guest was transported to the hospital and released just days later. He returned to thank the Boulder Station Security Officers who saved his life. The excellent execution of CPR and AED by these Officers saved the life of this guest. We, as an organization, thank each of these Officers for their dedication and excellent job performance. Great job Boulder Security
